Job Description
A leading FMCG is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates with a degree as well as supervisory experience to manage the operational requirements of the warehouse, distribution and fleet aspects of the operation, in support of the Alternative Revenue Streams strategy, in an efficient and cost effective manner so as to ensure service excellence to Local Distribution Partners and customers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure inbound stock is accurately receipted and accounted for
- Ensure stock is counted daily and an accurate stock file is uploaded into the system
- Ensure loads are picked on time & accurately
- Ensure stock is delivered in time and in full to the LDP and/or customer to maintain high levels of customer service
- Ensure all trucks/trailers are loaded on time and in full according to the issued plan
- Ensure stock, and all stock containers (such as pallets, etc.) are managed within model stock guidelines
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
- Ensure disciplined, constant process compliance
- Maintain and improve operational efficiency standards
- Rigorous management and control of cost within defined parameters
- Assets managed effectively
- Manage the contractors outputs based on the SLA in place
- Manage product waste according to Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines of CCBSA
- Manage time, attendance and performance of Warehouse Operators and ensure timeous and accurate weekly wages are paid
- Maintain good communication channels and relationships with various Brand Owners that Alternative Revenue Streams will be servicing

Skills, Experience & Education Key Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Logistics/Warehousing/Supply Chain qualification and at least 3 years’ relevant experience at a supervisory level
- Experience working with SAP for warehouse transactions
- Experience in FMCG operations will be beneficial
